Come out to Mullens Bar and Grill in Pittsburgh ( SOUTH SIDE LOCATION!!!!!) to watch #2 Ohio State vs Marshall in the opening game on September 2, 2010.

Miami vs Ohio State PARTY, BAND, AND TAILGATE. ALSO STAY AND WATCH THE PSU VS ALABAMA GAME THAT NIGHT!!! We will once again be having a tailgate before the biggest out of conference game of the year. We will be having a local Band - Walk of Shame -performing live. We will have a cornole tournament, tailgate, and then watch Ohio State take down the Miami Hurricanes for the first time since the 2002 National Championship.

The cost of this event will be: $20 for all you can eat food and open bar

$10 for food only child

All are welcome to come and this event will be family friendly.

We will have plenty of different kinds of food at this event, and we will also provide pop, beer, water, mixed drinks etc. It should be well worth the cost of admission.

8/26 - Freshman Welcome Picnic (Senior Send off for future OSU students)

We will be having a picnic/meet and greet for all incoming freshman of the 2010 class that are from the Pittsburgh area. This event is organized and funded by the OSU Club of Greater Pittsburgh, and should be a nice way to bring in the Freshman class, and also help them maybe meet some new friends. The event will be held at North Park at the Kilbuck Pavilion at 7:00pm on the 26th of August. There is no cost to attend. Please email evcat@comcast.net or scooni3@yahoo.com for more details. 9/2 Game Watch vs Marshall

We will be having our first game watch at Mullens Bar and Grill on September 2 - starting with happy hour at 6 pm and lasting until the end of the game. Come watch the Buckeyes take down Marshall as we head to an undefeated season! We will have some added twists to this years game watches - and they should be fun for everyone. All ages are welcome! Buckeye MUSIC, Raffles, 50/50 drawings, giveaways, and games will be a part of the fun!

Ohio St and PSU Dinner. Come out and meet former players, and personalities from this Rivalry. We will be having a networking/social dinner to kick off the weekend of this great rivalry. Details to follow.

We will be collecting membership dues for the Ohio State Alumni Chapter of Greater Pittsburgh. Please support our club if you have in the past, as we grew in membership in the past year, and we hope to do so again this year. Obviously the larger our membership, the greater our ability to support the scholarship fund, and the more we have ability to maintain the events we have done over the past year. Membership is $15 again this year.

Here are some of the events we have planned over the next year, and what your support of the club means for all of us as well as any future OSU students.

- Probably the most important thing that your membership supports is the OSU Pittsburgh Scholarship fund - given to local, future OSU students each year.

- Ability to get tickets to our yearly home game as available.

- Supports our social events thrown quarterly.

- Supports our networking and maintanence of the website.

- Supports cost of our yearly raffle.

- Supports the discounts at our weekly football game watches.

- Supports the and ability to get game tickets for future basketball games.

- Supports our golf outing - which we will be having again this year.

- Supports events such as the Jim Tressel luncheon we had last February.

- Supports future marketing and fund raisers of the OSU Pittsburgh Chapter.

Please continue to be a part of a group that is growing locally. We appreciate you being here, and remember that there is strength in numbers.

On March 6th, we had a bowling and kareoke night at Arsenal Lanes in Lawrenceville. It was from 9pm to 12am, and I think everyone who came had a really good time. Look for more Social Events in the near future on our website.

THANKS TO ALL FOR COMING OUT - OSU VS USC TAILGATE

A special thanks to everyone that came out to the USC TAILGATE PARTY in downtown Pittsburgh. The game watch was a great turnout also - filling Bubba’s Ugly Bar with about 150-200 people. despite the loss, I think most everyone had a fantastic time. Let’s rebound and support the Bucks as they win the Big Ten Championship!
