Each year, roughly three - $600 scholarships are awarded to students from the Pittsburgh area who will be attending OSU in the fall as Freshman. This scholarship money comes mainly from Membership Dues, Raffles that occur during the game watches, and other Fundraising Events.  Each year the club receives over 30 applications, and would love to give more scholarships.  Please consider becoming a dues paying member this year, or participating in one of our fundraising events to help send students to OSU next fall!

The application process:
Each year during the fall, the Alumni Association sends out scholarship applications to High School Seniors in the Pittsburgh Area who will be attending OSU in the fall. These students have until the middle/end of February to complete the application.

The selection process:
The officers of the Alumni Club of Pittsburgh then review these applications from March - April to select the top recipients. Students are notified roughly around May from the Alumni Association if they have been awarded the Scholarship. 

Donate via Raffle. Would you like to participate in our raffle to help support this scholarship fund as well? We will be selling tickets at most all of the Football game watches, with the winner being announced at the end of the football season. At various games, there may also be daily raffles (to be announced at the end of the game).

Prices for the year- end raffle are 1 ticket for $5, 3 tickets for $10, or 8 tickets for $20.
